ohn Heintz is not well known at all. In fact I could not find any back round information on him. He makes some beautiful music and here are a couple songs that by him that I love! They are both from the album, ”The Question behind the Question”. The first song is ” The sound of my Voice ” the second is ” Defending Our Lives”. This whole album is very very good and i would recommend you check the whole thing out. You won’t be disappointed! The Naked and Famous

The Naked and Famous is an indie rock band that formed in 2008 in Auckland, New Zealand. In the first year, Thom Powers and Alisa Xayalith recorded two EPs, with fellow student from MAINZ music college, Aaron Short. The EPs were released on an independent label that year shortly before the band began playing live with Jordan Clark on drums and Ben Knapp on bass. Aaron Short wasnât a preforming member of ââThe Naked and Famousââ until after the release of the single âAll of Thisâ in 2009. Also in 2009, Jesse Wood replaced Jordan Clark on the drums as a permanent member and Ben Knapp was replaced by David beadles on the bass, also as a permanent member of the band. The band released their debut single âYoung Bloodâ in 2010. âYoung Blood was the first song by a New Zealand band to be number one on the charts.
In 2011, the group received six nominations at the New Zealand Music Awards for Album of the Year, Single of the Year, Best Group, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Best Alternative Album and the People’s Choice Award. They were also nominated for the NZ On Air Best Music Video and won the MAINZ Best Engineer Award and the MAINZ Best Producer Award. The band just released their newest album âPassive me, Aggressive Youâ. It is available on itunes for download.

Elvis Costello is an English singer songwriter, born on August 25 1954, in Paddington london England. Elvis had released over 30 studio albums and five live albums, my personal favorite is ‘ My aim is true’. The album was released on July 22, 1977 and was Costellos debut album. In 2003 the TV network VH1 named Costellos album ‘My aim is True’ 80th greatest album of all time. My favorite song is on this album, the track name is ‘Alison’ and I love it so i have it listed here.

Coldplay is a british rock band that formed in 1996. In the early years, the band changed their name several times, first they were the ‘Pectoralz’ ( someone had a sense of humor đ ) and then shortly after Guy Barryman joined the band, they changed their name to ‘Starfish’. Before recording three EPs in 1998 they changed their name again, to Coldplay. But the bands popularity didn’t skyrocket until they released song ‘Yellow’ in 2000. Over the years Coldplay has become more and more popular, and has also won several music awards; Â six Brit Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, and seven Grammy Awards from twenty nominations. Coldplay has just released their newest album Mylo Xyloto a couple months back anc are now touring. Be sure to catch one of their shows they’re going to be awesome. Five Studio Albums later, Coldplay has sold over 50 million records world wide! Check out these songs, two are old and Paradise is from their new album.

Apologies for the drought

So lately I have rejected my blog, probably a bad time to do since this is my creative outlet, and an outlet is exactly what i’ve needed for the past couple weeks. My boyfriend of ten months and I broke up. I was unpleasantly surprised when i found out he had contacted a girl he had met during the summer, and he ended up telling me his intentions where to cheat on me, though he felt bad and decided not too, I was still un convinced. Anyways now that it’s over i decided to focus on myself for awhile and ‘The Music Lover’ has expanded and now also has a facebook page! Tear Jerker ; Travelin’ Soldier

Now, I am going to make something abundantly clear. I do not like country  music. I just don’t really enjoy it. I used to love it, and eventually it just got annoying. But I have a bit of a soft spot for the dixie Chicks. They really have powerful songs, with alot of emotion and if i were to choose one country band that was my favorite it would definitely be the Dixie Chicks. My parents are also Dixie Chicks fans so for that reason i have herd quite a bit of them in the past. They have this song that makes me cry EVERY time i listen to it. And I just really want to share it with you. ‘Travelin’ Soldier’ is an amazing, gut wrenching song. I really do love it and so here it is đ

Red Hot Chili Peppers

The Red Hot Chili Peppers. I found out about them probably when I was like six. I herd them on the radio and I loved them, and I am still a fan. The Chili Peppers formed in Los Angeles in 1983. Currently the band consists of Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith, And Josh Klinghoffer. Although in the past there have been another 10 people who had been in the band. The group struggled with drug addictions and members dying of overdoses, all the while making amazing music. Since they formed in 1983, the band has sold over 70 million albums worldwide, and have won seven Grammy Awards. Also, the band holds the record for most number one singles on the Alternative Songs chart at 13. Because they’re music is so fantastic I have given you three link, and also i have listed the songs i would highly reccomend you check into. The first link is called ‘Dosed’, the song was released in July of 2002 on the album ‘By the Way’. The second is called ‘ The Otherside’, and the third is ‘ Scar Tissue’ these tracks are the more mainstream songs, they were released on the album ‘ Californiacation’ in June of 1999. The album Californiacation produced three number one hits ‘Californiacation’, ‘Scar Tissue’ and ‘The otherside’.
